What’s more, hosting on our websites is free for the first year, and subsidized (to take advantage of bulk purchasing opportunities) after that. Currently hosting is $49 a year (normal hosting elsewhere is around $90 a year). We plan to drop prices even further as more artists become involved.

Feedback from artists go towards making a better service. As times change, we will bring out updated templates that members can easily upgrade to, if they wish.

Other Features

Our content management system (CMS) allows you to update basic information to your website from any computer. You can upload images as you would in email, and reorder your images on your site by numbering them as you want them to appear (see above). It also allows a limitless amount of features to be added, while being stable and secure. Our platform is the CMS of choice for organizations such as the New York Times, Ebay, Yahoo, CNN, Rolling Stone, NASA and Sony, as well as being used for over 200 million other websites.

We give you comprehensive how-to guides, to use and update your site content yourself. If you have any problems, we are on hand to give you advice. (So far, no one has needed to even read the guides – it’s that easy to work out!)

Our hosting uses these guys, who use 130% Wind Energy (all of its energy used is green, plus subsidizing others’ energy use). We guarantee 99.9% uptime, and have never seen or heard of a single blip outside of perfect service.
